What we can assist your Medical Facility with

Activate Safety can assist and gather the following for a Pre Employment Screen at your medical facility :

  • Relevant Baseline Data (inclusive of BMI, Heart Rate, and Blood Pressure testing)

  • Examination of Near Distant and Colour Vision screening

  • Urinary Drug Screening

  • Breath Alcohol Screen

  • Oral Saliva Screen

We use the following methods to screen for Illicit Drug and Alcohol Consumption using the latest quality and trusted screening equipment:

Urine Drug Screening
Urine Drug Screening provides effective, accurate and rapid results. Our Drug and Alcohol Technicians are accredited in 10275NAT Workplace Drug Testing (breath alcohol) (oral fluid- saliva) (urine), meeting the standards as collectors in AS/NZS 4308:2008 and AS/NZS 4760:2019. The Urine Drug Screening identifies if the following substances may be present:

1) AMP (Amphetamine)
2) MOP (Morphine)
3) MET (Methamphetamine)
4) COC (Cocaine)
5) THC (Cannabis)
6) BZO (Benzodiazepines)

A non-negative result on a Urine Drug Screening device could mean that an amount of substance from one or more of the listed may have been detected.

To confirm if the resulted Non-Negative is a positive, further analysis will need to be required by a NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) approved laboratory for clinical laboratory confirmation via a chain of custody.

Breath Alcohol Screening

A simple quick and effective process using a Breath Analyser which can identify if a person has alcohol present in their system.  Our Drug and Alcohol Technicians are accredited in 10275NAT Workplace Drug Testing (breath alcohol) (oral fluid- saliva) (urine), meeting the standards as collectors in AS/NZS 4308:2008 and AS/NZS 4760:2019.
